Jason Michael provides affordable, one to one counselling and supervision near Hastings, East Sussex. His company, Rise Counselling Services also provide individual or group supervision, group work, training modules and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP's) to organisations. I am a qualified Counsellor and a member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am fully insured and work from my home in Fairlight, near Hastings, East Sussex. I am also a qualified Supervisor to other counsellors.


My work is with individuals and couples who come to counselling presenting with a variety of problems. I have worked for St Michaels Bereavement Service as a counsellor, CRUSE Bereavement Care in Eastbourne as a Supervisor of their counsellors, and as a Supervisor for Survivors of Suicide in Hastings. I also supervise counsellors working for MacMillan at Eastbourne Hospital. Previously I have worked for The NHS in Hastings in local GP surgeries and for the NHS at Brighton General Hospital. I have also worked for the Hastings Community Alcohol Team (Action For Change) as a counsellor, supervisor and Group Worker for a number of years.
Although my experience in bereavement and alcohol addiction is extensive, I have a lot of experience in general counselling. There is more information under the counselling section of the main menu.
  
I offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments and I am only 5 minutes from Hastings.There are also regular buses from Hastings, Rye, Bexhill and Ore to Fairlight.
