Working creatively in counselling using sand trays and objects will be a very hands on experience, so that participants can get a good idea of how they can use objects and sand tray work in depth with their clients. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to work with sand trays and a wide assortment of objects. Joy has a degree in psychology,  and a diploma in Integrative Counselling (Person- Centred, TA & Gestalt). She works as a Hospice Counsellor and is a tutor on the Foundation Degree in Person-Centred Counselling at Sussex Downs College. She previously taught on the diploma course at Wealden College. She works privately as a counsellor and as a supervisor for individuals and Organisations.
