Counselling Young People

Counselling Young People

Facilitated by Mary Dicker

9th April 2011
at Friends' Meeting House, Brighton

The workshop is aimed at people working with children in any setting. We will be looking at the needs of children and young people and will be trying out ways of working using creative methods, stories and play. The methods can be used with children and teenagers and participants will be working experientially. There will be an assumption that participants will have some experience of basic counselling skills. We will also cover issues on child protection and what to do in the event of disclosure about abuse from clients.
