Person-Centred to Integrative
Facilitated by Joy Oakley
5th March 2011 at The White Rock Hotel, Hastings
In the world of counselling and therapy there is more and more mutality between models. The natural overlap between theories which attempt to explain human behaviour and personality, is reflected in the methods and techniques they use. This workshop takes the Person-Centred way of communicating and relating to clients as the solid base on which to build your own unique, integrative, counselling approach:
* How can you incorporate other methods while staying true to your base?
* What other approaches and client work appeal to you?
* Can, for example, Gestalt, Solution-Focused, TA, and many others, enhance and add to our work?
The workshop will provide ideas and methods for you to try out, and
encourage you to bring your own experiences - of life and counselling - to help develop our ideas.
