Working With Issues of Self Esteem

Working With Issues of Self Esteem

Facilitated by Joy Oakley

12 June 2010

As counsellors we know how often questions of self-worth arise with our clients, and for ourselves as counsellors.  This workshop gives the opportunity of a safe place to explore:

  • What actually is self esteem?

  • Why is it important to have healthy self-esteem?

  • Can we have too much / too little?

  • How does it develop?

We will explore these ideas using creativity as well as words, and participants will also be asked to look at their own self esteem. Guidelines will be discussed on how to work effectively with clients
