Understanding & Working With Issues of Anger

Understanding & Working With Issues of Anger

Facilitated by Joy Oakley

2nd July 2011 at The White Rock Hotel, Hastings

Is anger healthy? Is it unhealthy? Should we let it out, or keep it in? Or - is there an alternative?

Many people find difficulty in dealing with their own anger and difficulty dealing with other people's anger. This workshop takes a look at the principles behind ways to 'calm the stormy mind', to look into ourselves and explore our own ways of dealing with anger, leading us forward into seeing how we can help others.

With practical suggestions and activities we will explore -

  • Where anger comes from

  • The effects of anger

  • The triggers of anger
  • The different ways anger is expressed

  • Ideas and strategies for managing anger
